Lori Vickers will speak about key issues in dairy cattle welfare (i.e., calf rearing, lameness, postpartum illness, pasture, tail docking) and how we use the role of science in animal welfare research and the future of animal welfare in the industry. She will follow her presentation with a tour of the facilities, including the various barns and equipment she used for her research.
