The Research Hydrologist is the scientific advisor in the field of watershed management, who conducts applied research to support science-based decision-making and provides expert professional advice in the field of hydrology.

We are a collaborative research group comprised of soils and geomorphology, remote sensing, climate, terrestrial ecology, silviculture, forest health and entomology researchers.

Qualifications for this role include:
- Master’s degree (preferably a PhD.) specializing in hydrology or water resource science and 1 year of related experience.
- Registration or eligible for registration as a Professional Geoscientist or Professional Engineer with the Engineers and Geoscientists BC (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia), or a Registered Professional Forester with the Association of BC Forest Professionals or a Professional Agrologist with the BC Institute of Agrologists.
