Food and Water Security

Join Dr. Joanne Taylor, a post-doctoral researcher at UBC Okanagan, on an exploration of food security and climate change. This UBC Okanagan non-credit course is offered online from January 18 – February 20, 2021.

Joanne's research resides at the intersections of agriculture, water, and adaptation in the inter-disciplinary fields of environmental anthropology and geographical food systems. Her projects are focused on the ways that food security and food sovereignty are defined globally, nationally, regionally, and locally. In this course, you will explore policy and case studies that illuminate the impacts of climate change on food systems, and what changes need to occur in the coming decades.

Registration opens in late November. For access to the UBC Okanagan registration site, please contact vivian.1forssman@royalroads.ca
