Agriculture, Food & Seafood Traceability Funding
presented by CAFA (Canadian Association of Farm Advisors)
Join us for lunch in Abbotsford on February 20, 2020, for the BC Traceability Funding Programs Workshop to learn more about programs funded under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership, a federal-provincial-territorial initiative.
Is traceability important in your clients' agribusiness? Whether their supply chain includes animals, plants, or food products, traceability allows them to track an item or group of items from one point in the supply chain to another. It is a key component in food safety, and can significantly reduce the economic, social and environmental impacts of food safety issues such as product recalls, or emergencies like a contagious disease outbreak.
The goal of the programs is to increase the adoption of traceability systems, practices, technologies and infrastructure across the agrifood and seafood sectors, enabling businesses to meet existing and emerging market regulatory requirements.
Come and connect with us over a lunch and learn about eligibility requirements and the types of funding available.
