The BC Technical and Research Committee on Reclaimation (BCTRCR) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 43rd Annual Mine Reclamation Symposium. We have worked out an action-packed agenda for the virtual September 23, 2020 event which will include two virtual Mine tours. SPOILER ALERT – these field trips will not require PPE!
In addition, preceding the Symposium event, on September 16th, 2020 we will also host a half day virtual short course on the topic of: Integration of Engineering and Ecological Principles through Geomorphic Landform Design which will be an add-on option available on the registration site.
New this year, the BC TRCR will be hosting a virtual poster session during the BC Mine Reclamation Symposium for undergraduate and graduate students from a BC post-secondary institution or conducting their research in BC in the field of reclamation. These will be uploaded for viewing prior to the event and we will host a live Q and A session on the posters on the day of the symposium and students that have presented are asked to attend.
Details for the Virtual Poster Session for Undergraduate and Graduate Students are found here: TRCR Student Poster Session 2020.
