This online course, recently updated to include the new Code of Ethics and BCIA bylaws as of the enactment of the Professional Governance Act, is intended to be a refresher of the Ethics for Professionals workshop for professional agrologists who completed the BCIA Ethics for Professionals workshop three or more years ago.
With the implementation of the Professional Governance Act, agrologists need to be aware of the changes in the bylaws and expectations for ethical practice. This course will review what it is to be a professional and the responsibilities of a professional agrologist, and introduce the new duty to report requirement under the PGA. Ten different case studies will provide examples of a variety of ethical situations. You will have the opportunity to participate in forum discussions of any of these case studies.
