COST: BCIA members - $5 (note: please bring $5 to the event)

A morning with the Port Moody Ecology Society (PMES) at Noons Creek Fish Hatchery to learn about the hatchery, fish, invertebrates, and more!

PMES is a 100% volunteer-operated training organization whose mandate is to operate a salmon hatchery and water quality testing laboratory on land owned by the City of Port Moody. They have been working for over 30 years to foster a love of the environment through education and outreach in the Tri-Cities. PMES and Noons Creek fish hatchery is situated within the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tseil-Waututh Nation (TWN). Parking Area:  300 Ioco Road, Port Moody, BC, V3H 2V7

*The Noons Creek hatchery is located over the footbridge to the very right of the Port Moody Recreation Centre on Ioco Road. Note parking is limited.

The maximum capacity for the event is 30 people. Please sign up early to avoid disappointment! This event is open to BCIA Vancouver and Fraser Valley branch members only at this time. Please pay fees upon arrival at the event.

  • $5 entry fee
