THE IMPORTANCE OF QUALITY ASSURANCE IN CANNABIS PRODUCTION
In Canada and other legal cannabis jurisdictions around the world, producing dried cannabis and cannabis-derived products requires that licensed companies adhere to Good Agricultural and Production Practices (GAP and GPP). A major component of cannabis production is Quality Assurance, which ensures that cultivators and processors adhere to strict protocols to produce and sell safe, quality-controlled cannabis products. This presentation will focus on the various aspects of GAP/GPP, including chemical and microbial contaminants, with a particular focus on the Canadian Cannabis Regulations.
