Kamloops branch and TRU introduce

Geographic Information Systems (GIS )Workshop for Agrologists and Natural Resource Professionals.

We are excited to partner with Thompson Rivers University (TRU) to present a Geographic Information Systems (GIS )Workshop for Agrologists and Natural Resource Professionals. The workshop will be hosted by Dr. David Hill of the Geography and Environmental Studies Department at TRU. It will be ideal for beginners including those who have not used GIS before. It will provide an introduction to mapping and spatial analysis. Detailed workshop program to come. Coffee and muffins provided. 

When: October 28th,  9:00 am - 12:00

Where: TRU Arts and Education Building GIS Lab Rm 361 (http://www.tru.ca/map.html)

Cost: FREE to BCIA members and student-members of BCIA - register below - Ensure you do the 2 STEP PROCESS to register.  Students not registered as a BCIA student member can go to https://www.bcia.com/members/student-membership 

 ** Note that students interested in this event can enroll as BCIA student-members  at no cost and attend the event for free.
