Lac Du Bois past, present, and future

An overview of the land and its uses, and plant communities and their changes over time.

Catch the bus leaving from Kamloops Coast Hotel at 9:30 am or meet on Lac du Bois Rd in the parking lot after the cattle guard just above Bachelor Heights at 9:45 am. Three grassland stops to discuss the geology and history of use of the Lac Du bois area, grassland plant communities and their changes over time. Each stop will have a couple of informative local speakers and an opportunity to walk and get to know the grasslands better. Returning to the hotel at 2:30 pm.
Price: $20 includes bag lunch. BCIA Members and Non-members welcome. Non-members use registration form.
