This is part of the Vancouver branch evening webinar series on Invasive Species.
Kathy Ma, ED Fraser Valley Invasive Species Society will speak about this invasive species.
Date: Thurs, May 27 @ 6:00 pm
Knotweed is a very aggressive invasive plant native to eastern Asia. In the Lower Mainland, knotweed's presence has caused major problems for landowners. Their massive root systems and potential for spread complicates projects that involve moving soil, and controlling knotweed requires time and understanding of the plant growth in order to achieve success. Learn current best practices for identification and management options, and other considerations when working with or around knotweed plants.
