Climate change directly relates to growing concerns of increased negative impacts from invasive species. Mitigating impacts, sequestering carbon, and taking action to protect critical habitats from invasive species is more important than ever.

Canada’s 1st National Invasive Species and Climate Change Symposium will bring together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to discuss this issue and begin to identify next steps to address it. 

AGENDA: The National Invasive Species and Climate Change Symposium will take place over two days on a browser-based virtual event platform. Hear from presenters on topics all of interest to members of the invasive species community. In addition to daily networking opportunities in the live event, the agenda will feature:
