Join our webinar to learn more about the Board’s recent investigation of reforestation success in the dry IDF. The investigation looked at tree species composition trends, licensee compliance with reforestation requirements and the effectiveness of reforestation choices in establishing and maintaining resilient stands and government guidance available.
The report found that improvements to reforestation practices are needed. Read the report on the Forest Practices Board’s website, here.
Project lead, Daryl Spencer, RPF, and consultant Ken Day, RPF, will talk about the investigation findings and improvements that can be made to increase reforestation success, followed by a question and answer session. Neil Hughes from FLNRORD will also join us to talk about what government is doing on this issue.
Topics covered will include:
- A summary of the report findings, including compliance, species trends and stand condition
- Practices that can help improve stand condition
- Report recommendations to government
- Guidance available from government
