Your 2018 BC Institute of Agrologists dues invoice is now available online in your member profile through the BCIA website https://www.bcia.com/pay-invoice. Online payments via credit card are now being accepted. Payment can also be made by sending a cheque (can be post-dated) or credit card details to BCIA along with the invoice. E-mailing your invoice saves postage and paper and the staff time to stuff those envelopes!
If you don’t remember your log-in information, you will need to reset this to allow you to log-in to your BCIA profile. Go to www.bcia.com >log-in >Request a Password using your preferred email address we have in the system and you’ll receive an email to set up your member log-in.
DEADLINE FOR DUES IS FEBRUARY 15, 2018 but we encourage members to pay their 2018 dues before December 31, 2017. After the deadline a late fee of $50.00 will be applied to any dues unpaid. Dues and late fees not paid by April 1, 2018 will result in removal from the register.
BEFORE you can pay your dues, you are required to report your 2017 Professional Development activities and 2017 Area(s) of Practice in the online PD reporting form in your member profile at www.bcia.com >member log-in> PD reports. You will see the PAY NOW button within your invoice once you have submitted your PD and Area(s) of Practice.
P.Ag.(Retired) members are exempt from PD reporting but are required to complete the online Status Declaration found behind the member log-in within the member invoice, or submit the P.Ag.(Retired) declaration paper form found under Member Forms and Guides, before payment is accepted.
Student members are exempt from PD reporting and payment of dues but are required to complete the online Status Declaration also found behind the member log-in within the member invoice (at $0.00).
When paying by credit card, you will receive a processing receipt via email. If you require an official hardcopy receipt and/or a membership card you can access that via your member profile >Dues Invoices/Receipts after your payment has been processed.
Note: If you wish to change your status or return your membership to active status you must complete and submit the appropriate form found online at www.bcia.com >Members>Forms and Guides. The request is then approved by the Registrar prior to dues being processed.
If any of your personal or contact information has changed please visit the website at www.bcia.com and login to update. As well, please release contact information in your profile as desired to other BCIA members as they may want to contact you. You may also wish to release certain contact information to the public – for either option simply click on the appropriate button, then save.
