Recognizing our Volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of BCIA.  Each year, BCIA members contribute their time and expertise to volunteer for branch executives, committees and Council.

  • Eleven dedicated members volunteer their time to serve on Council.
  • Over 30 members serve on the various standing committees.
  • 8 to 12 members within each of the 8 branches help to organize branch  professional development activities, events and AGM'

That's over 100 agrologists who take the time out of their busy lives to dedicate as professionals to the BC Institute of Agrologists.

Another 240 members volunteer their time to mentor articling agrologists.

Thank you to all BCIA members who have volunteered as a mentor, a branch executive member, a council member, a committee member or in one way or another served BCIA in some capacity.  Your hard work is much appreciated!
