Volunteers are the lifeblood of BCIA. Each year, many BCIA members contribute their time and expertise to volunteer for branch executives, committees and Council.
- 7 dedicated BCIA registrants (and 3 to 4 Lay members) volunteer their time to serve on Council.
- Over 30 registrants serve on the various standing committees.
- 8 to 12 registrants within each of the 8 BCIA branches help to organize branch professional development activities, events and AGMs
That's over 100 agrologists who take the time out of their busy lives to dedicate as professionals to the BC Institute of Agrologists.
Another 240 members volunteer their time to mentor articling agrologists.
Thank you to all BCIA registrants who have volunteered as a mentor, a branch executive member, a council member, a committee member or in one way or another served BCIA in some capacity. Your hard work is much appreciated!
