Change of Status in Registration

On occasion, as a Practicing Registrant., you may need to change your status with BCIA.

FORMS - Change of Status and Others

If you are requesting an on leave status you will need to complete the appropriate form online and declare you will not be practicing agrology (paid or volunteer) while on reduced fee status. As a non-practicing registrant, you  must complete 50% of the minimum required amount of PD hours annually while on leave. On your return to practicing status, you will need to complete the appropriate form and submit payment.

If you are requesting retired status you will need to complete the appropriate form online and declare you will not be practicing agrology (paid or volunteer) while on retired status. Usually this status means you have 'retired' from working in agrology yet would still like to remain a BCIA registrant.  If you find yourself doing contract work or returning to full employment then you will need to complete the appropriate form online and submit payment appropriately for practicing status. The PAg(Retired) is not required to submit their PD activities as a condition to pay their annual fee. Annual completion of a Retired Status Declaration is required though.

If you would like PAg(Retired 75+) status you will need to complete the appropriate form online to declare you will not be practicing agrology (paid or volunteer) while on this status.  Please provide a birthdate to verify that you qualify.  Renewal fees, reporting of PD activities and a declaration are all not required while holding PAg(Retired 75+) status.
