Branch Recognition Award Nominations
Please consider nominating a branch member for the Branch Recognition Award. Nomination deadline is Thursday, October 17th, 2019.
The Victoria and Islands Branch has a Branch Recognition Award where the recipient receives a plaque. The criteria for nominations requires that the recipient be an active member of the branch, has been a leader in the field of agrology in their chosen specialty and has been active in encouraging the development of the profession. If you know of a branch member who deserves this recognition award please nominate them today along with your reasons why, and forward them to Myron Roth, President at email@example.com with subject line: “2019 BCIA AGM recognition award” by Thursday, October 10th, 2019. Related secret balloting will be conducted only of branch members in good standing at the meeting.
Executive Positions to Fill
Some individuals currently on Executive have volunteered to let their names stand for another year; however we will be asking for nominations for all listed positions so if you are interested please contact Myron Roth, President at firstname.lastname@example.org with subject line: “2019 BCIA AGM executive position” or make yourself known at the AGM.

*The Treasurer is a two year position and Kate Bergen will be continuing in that role for another year.

A motion at a duly constituted meeting can only be made, seconded, debated and voted on by Members in good standing of the respective Branch.
