Registrants who are in good standing (having paid the current year renewal fees) with another provincial institute of agrology may transfer their registration directly to BCIA or take dual registration in both BC and their home province.
Consistent with the terms of the BC/AB Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA) and the Canadian Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), BCIA will recognize (for the purposes of granting a licence) those occupations/trades which are currently fully licensed and in good standing from any other regulatory body in Canada. Take note that the receiving institute can place restrictions on the practice of a transferee in accordance with its own requirements.
*We are now accepting applications for dual and transfer registration under the new technical agrologist category, using the existing application forms. CHOOSE ONLY TWO (2) DECLARED AREAS OF PRACTICE
