Kevin David Vaughan , PAg
My name is Kevin Vaughan and I have been a member of the BCIA since 2018. I was elected as your A.Ag coordinator in October 2019 and officially began my term following the CCI Branch AGM in October 2019. I received my P.Ag designation in March 2020. This is my first elected position with the BCIA.
I am currently working as an Authorizations Technologist with the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource operations and Rural Development in Fort St. James. I graduated from TRU in 2010 with a B.Sc. in Natural Resource Management and graduated from Selkirk College with a Technical Diploma in 2007 in Recreation, Fish and Wildlife. I recently started in December 2018 with the Ministry to take on a new challenge in a more forestry related role doing fir beetle management, small scale salvage and check cruising. Prior to that, I worked in Fort St. John and Alberta for approximately eight years doing contaminated site assessment, investigation and remediation, groundwater monitoring and sampling, remedial excavation programs, pipeline and road construction monitoring and drilling waste disposal.
In my spare time I enjoy fishing, camping and hunting with my young son Joe, new daughter Amelia and wife Rikki who loves the outdoors as much as I do. I also enjoy working on fixing or building things I need around the home.
