Highly skilled hydrologist with over 10 years of international experience in hydrology and environmental sciences. As a consultant, she has focused on development of mitigation, compensation, and environmental management plans for hydroelectric, linear, and mining projects. Her varying roles as a hydrologist have included undertaking statistical and hydrological numerical modelling to allow the development of flood forecasting and management strategies; assisting in the planning of water resource development by monitoring and operational forecasting water usage and rainfall; supervising data collection, processing data, conducting QA/QC, and evaluating data for water resource planning and flood management; and developing computer systems to improve the efficiency of data collection and analysis.

As the Environmental Stewardship Manager at Musqueam Indian Band (MIB) she is responsible for the water (non-fisheries), land and environment program within Musqueam’s Traditional Territory. She created an Environment and Stewardship Department where, she mentors and supervises staff. Yeganeh manages and provides support, internally and externally, on policy, programs and projects related to Musqueam environment and stewardship issues. In addition, she focuses on the protection, enhancement and restoration of the ecosystem and habitat as well as other MIB stewardship initiatives. Her role entails the development and maintenance of relationships across government and non-government institutions and organizations that impact MIB.
