Conference Sponsorship

The BC Institute of Agrologists and the Kamloops Branch organizing committee invite you to become a sponsor for our 73rd Conference and AGM at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and Conference Centre, Kamloops, May 20 - May 22, 2020.

Thank you to our 2020 Conference SPONSORS listed HERE

The British Columbia Institute of Agrologists (BCIA) is a self-regulating provincial organization operating under the newly implemented Professional Governance Act and Agrologist Act (2003), a British Columbia statute, to govern the professional conduct of its members in support of the public interest.

BCIA represents over 1500 professionals working within agrology in British Columbia, and has eight (8) branches throughout the province.  Our institute is represented in all sectors of the agriculture and natural resource industries, and our Kamloops Branch includes 160 members who work with the agriculture, business, natural resources, environmental, mineral and oil/gas sectors.

BCIA holds a provincial annual general meeting (AGM), and the Kamloops Branch has been selected to host our 73rd annual meeting and conference.

The committee is planning for up to 300 delegates to attend from all regions of British Columbia. They plan to bring attention to the diverse and interesting businesses and landscapes of the Kamloops region.

We are seeking sponsors for our event in order to keep costs reasonable for the attendees and yet provide a truly superior experience that will be associated with the firms who choose to put their name and corporate materials in front of the attendees.  We have a number of sponsorship levels including:

  • Diamond ($2,000+) , Platinum ($1,500+),  Gold ($1,000+) , Silver ($500-$750),  Bronze ($300+),  Donations (<$300 or in kind contribution)

Sponsors will receive recognition in the order of the sponsorship levels at all convention events, have their logo and sponsorship level on the Conference Agenda, on the BCIA website for 2018, on signage at the Conference and on the tables.  Sponsors at the Silver ($750 amount), Gold and Platinum levels will receive one complimentary registration for the conference while Diamond sponsors will receive two complimentary registrations.  All sponsors will be recognized in the BCIA Conference program, conference website and the May email update that goes to all members.  In addition to the above, those sponsors at the $750 level and above will have the opportunity to have a table display in the lobby of the conference centre, should they wish. This will be available during the welcome reception May 20th and the professional development sessions on May 21 & 22.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.  We look forward to hearing from you.  Email:
