The BC Institute of Agrologists and the Peace River Branch organizing committee invite you to become a sponsor for our 71st Conference and AGM in Fort St. John, May 30 to June 1, 2018
The British Columbia Institute of Agrologists (BCIA) is a self-regulating provincial organization operating under the Agrologist Act, a British Columbia statute, to govern the professional conduct of its members in support of the public interest. This Act was updated in 2003 and expanded the definition of agrology to formally include the natural resource and environmental sciences along with agriculture. This change is being reflected in the growth of the Institute in areas such as natural resource and environmental management.
BCIA represents over 1500 professionals working within agrology in British Columbia, and has eight (8) branches throughout the province. Our institute is represented in all sectors of the agriculture and natural resource industries, and our Peace River Branch includes 110members who work with the agriculture, business, natural resources, environmental, mineral and oil/gas sectors.
BCIA holds a provincial annual general meeting (AGM), and the Peace River Branch has been selected to host our 71st annual meeting and conference.
The committee is planning for up to 125 delegates to attend from all regions of British Columbia. They plan to bring attention to the diverse and interesting businesses and landscapes of the Peace River region.
We are seeking sponsors for our event in order to keep costs reasonable for the attendees and yet provide a truly superior experience that will be associated with the firms who choose to put their name and corporate materials in front of the attendees. We have a number of sponsorship levels including:
- Diamond ($2,000+)
- Platinum ($1,500+)
- Gold ($1,000+)
- Silver ($500-$750)
- Bronze ($300+)
- Donations (<$300 or in kind contribution)
Sponsors will receive recognition in the order of the sponsorship levels at all convention events, have their logo and sponsorship level on the Convention Agenda, on the BCIA website for 2018, on signage at the Convention and on the tables. In addition, Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors will be listed as sole or joint sponsors for the banquet, luncheon, field tours, wine and cheese networking event and refreshment breaks during the convention.
Sponsors at the Silver ($750 amount), Gold and Platinum levels will receive one complimentary registration for the convention while Diamond sponsors will receive two complimentary registrations. All sponsors will be recognized in the BCIA Conference program and online newsletter that goes to all members, government, other provincial and national associations, etc.
In addition to the above, those sponsors at the $750 level and above will have the opportunity to have a table display in the lobby of the conference centre, should they wish. This will be available during the welcome reception May 30th and the professional development sessions on May 31st.
