Open to: CCI Branch Registrants with a focus on Articling Registrants and Potential Mentors

Looking to connect with fellow agrologists in your region? Join the Cariboo Central Interior (CCI) Branch for a virtual networking event designed to bring together articling agrologists and potential mentors.

This session is all about building connections, starting conversations, and creating opportunities for mentorship within the branch. Whether you’re looking for guidance or interested in supporting the next generation of professionals, this is a great space to meet and engage with your local agrology community.

We’ll kick things off with a brief introduction from the CCI Branch Executive, followed by a short 5-minute overview on Practice Areas from Andrea Gunner, Deputy Registrar, and a quick Q&A. From there, the focus shifts to connecting, participants will move into breakout rooms based on location (Prince George, Smithers, Williams Lake) to network, meet potential mentors/mentees, and discuss opportunities for future in-person meetups.

Event Highlights:

  • Meet articling agrologists and experienced professionals in your region
  • Explore mentorship opportunities within the CCI Branch
  • Quick update on Practice Areas from BCIA
  • Regional breakout rooms to support meaningful, local connections

Important Note:

This event is not for articling introductions and does not fulfill the articling presentation requirement. This is purely a networking session designed to help you get to know others in your branch and explore potential mentor/mentee relationships in a relaxed setting.

To help get conversations started in breakout rooms, you might consider:

  • What area of agrology do you currently work in (or want to move into)?
  • What are you hoping to gain from a mentor/mentee relationship?
  • What experience, skills, or perspective could you offer as a mentor?
  • What challenges are you currently facing in your career?
  • What are your short- and long-term career goals?
  • What kind of support or guidance would be most valuable to you right now?

Come with an open mind, be curious, and take the opportunity to build meaningful connections within your local agrology community.
