In the face of supply chain disruptions, climate change, market shifts, and labour constraints, farmers must adapt to ensure long-term sustainability and profitability. Andrew Adams has successfully navigated these challenges by transitioning from a vegetable-dominant farm to tree fruit and berry production, including pioneering greenhouse-grown sweet cherries. This strategic shift has increased farm asset values, reduced labour and fuel inputs, and enhanced resilience in a changing climate.
Join Andrew as he shares:
- The data and decision-making process behind his farm’s transformation
- Strategies for increasing return on investment while reducing inputs
- How climate change is reshaping agriculture feasibility and land use
- Lessons learned from his work as an Agricultural Land Commissioner, BC Land Matcher & Business Mentor
This transformation highlights the importance of adaptive farm planning, precision agriculture, and investment in resilient crop systems. Join Andrew as he shares the key insights, strategies, and lessons learned from his journey—offering valuable takeaways for farmers, agrologists, and industry professionals looking to future-proof their agricultural operations.
