Using case studies and examples, this course looks at the professionalism, the code of ethics, and the responsibilities of professional Agrologists. The course will also review the new Code of Ethics, Duty to Report and the changes to the BCIA Bylaws following the enactment of the Professional Governance Act.
Section 1 will be delivered as a two-week self-paced online course (approximately 4 hours of online work). This section includes online discussion of case studies. Course opens Friday, 29th September by noon. Complete all online modules and required discussions by Sunday, October 15, 2023.
Section 2 will be a 2 - 2 1/2 hour real-time Zoom discussion of the case studies covered in Section 1. The Zoom discussion is held on Wednesday, October 18, from 9:00am - 12:00 PM. Registrants must complete Section 1 (online portion) before gaining access to the Zoom session.
BOTH Sections 1 and 2 must be completed for successful completion of the Ethics workshop requirement for the Articling Program. (8 PDH total)
Registration Cost: $120 for Articling and Expedited TAgs and PAgs who have not previously taken the BCIA Ethics workshop.
