Join FV Branch for a unique professional development opportunity to explore the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) in Chilliwack and discover how UFV is shaping the future of agriculture, food systems, and business through innovative teaching and research.

This session will feature faculty members and staff from the Agriculture Department, the Food and Agriculture Institute, and the School of Business. Together, they will share insights on UFV’s integrated approach to education and research, and highlight how interdisciplinary collaboration is helping address real-world challenges in agriculture and food systems.

What to Expect:

• Welcome & Meet-and-Greet: Connect directly with UFV faculty and staff working at the intersection of agriculture, food security, sustainability, and business innovation.

• Presentations on Research: Hear about exciting ongoing projects, including applied research in crop production, agri-tech, food systems, and sustainable resource management.

• Program Overviews: Learn about UFV’s academic offerings, including agriculture diploma programs and research opportunities that help prepare the next generation of agrologists and food system leaders.

• Campus & Facility Tour: Explore the Chilliwack campus facilities, classrooms, and research labs, gaining a behind-the-scenes perspective on UFV’s hands-on, applied learning model.

• Lunch Provided: A packed lunch will be provided for attendees. Advise dietary concerns when you register.

ATTENTION articling registrants!! The in-person event will be an excellent opportunity to network and meet with other branch registrants.
