Join us for a powerful and thought-provoking guided tour of the St. Mary’s Grounds in Mission, led by Stó:lō Tourism. This is the site of the last functioning residential school in British Columbia, which closed its doors in 1984. The tour offers an opportunity to learn about the history of St. Mary’s Residential School, its legacy, and how the site is being used today.

Participants will gain insight into the lived experiences of Survivors, the significance of the land to local First Nations, and ongoing conversations surrounding the future of the building, including its potential demolition. The tour invites respectful reflection and learning in support of deeper cultural awareness and reconciliation.

Please note: This tour includes sensitive content related to the residential school system in Canada and may be distressing to some participants. Emotional support resources are encouraged.
