Join us for an exclusive tour of Arbutus Grove Nursery, a leading provider of containerized seedlings for reforestation in British Columbia and the US Pacific Northwest. Arbutus Grove was founded in 1979 by Hans and Susan Stoffelsma and has grown over 250 million seedlings to date. The tour will be led by Crop Manager Steven Kiiskila, PAg, a seasoned expert with over 25 years of experience in the forest nursery reforestation industry, and offers a unique opportunity to explore the art and science behind growing quality seedlings.

During the tour, you'll discover how Arbutus Grove Nursery custom-grows seedlings to meet the specific requirements of their diverse clientele, which includes forest companies, governments, First Nations bands, woodlot owners, and Christmas tree farms. Learn about their meticulous seed preparation services, quality assurance procedures, and cold storage and shipping logistics.

Steven will guide you through the nursery's 10-hectare facility located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, where they produce an impressive 14 million seedlings annually. Gain insights into the cultivation process as Steven shares his expertise in growing 20 different species of container seedlings, tailored for reforestation projects throughout the region.

Don't miss this opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of forest seedling production with Steven Kiiskila and the team at Arbutus Grove Nursery Ltd.
