Join KAM Branch for a unique professional development opportunity that explores the intersection of agrology and the wine industry. This engaging event will feature a guided tour of Monte Creek Winery’s vineyard and production facilities, highlighting their regenerative farming practices, crop management strategies, and soil and plant health initiatives.
Monte Creek’s Vineyard Manager will lead a focused discussion on the winery’s water management practices, offering in-depth insight into the challenges and solutions unique to viticulture. This session will explore strategies for optimizing irrigation, conserving water resources, and maintaining soil health in the context of changing climate conditions and regulatory considerations. Attendees will gain a practical understanding of how sustainability principles are applied in real-world vineyard operations to support long-term productivity and environmental stewardship.
There will be time after the tour for networking and discussion, with an optional wine tasting in the winery’s beautiful tasting room. This is a great opportunity to connect with peers in a casual setting, exchange ideas, build relationships, and explore shared interests in agrology and sustainable agriculture while enjoying locally crafted wines.
