Rowan Rampton, an ecologist currently finishing an MSc the University of Calgary, has studied plant-pollinator networks in West Kootenay camas meadows. By analyzing the data in this case study, it can be used to modify management decisions that better support pollinators. This research it highlights the significance of pollinators and their impact on plant growth. Rampton has extensive experience in studying pollination, including in blueberry fields and post-wildfire meadows.
By understanding the interplay between plants and pollinators, we can make better decisions about how to manage our natural resources, particularly in agricultural and wildland settings. So, if you're interested in learning more about the fascinating world of pollination ecology, be sure to check out Rampton's research and discover how you can support the vital work of these important creatures.
