This two-day event over October 13 & 14 in Cranbrook will showcase the amazing work and results of four years of Kootenay Connect, and highlight the importance of Kootenay Connect’s landscape level approach to conservation that targets multiple species and enhances/restores important habitats in the context of maintaining and improving ecological connectivity and resilience to climate change. The collective work under Kootenay Connect has become nationally recognized by the Canada Nature Fund as a successful Community-Nominated Priority Places project, and by Parks Canada as a National Ecological Corridor.
