Join OK Branch for a unique and immersive cultural learning experience with Jasmine Peone of Wildrose Cultural Traditions. In this workshop, participants will explore the Syilx 13-month calendar, journeying through the seasons to learn about traditional activities and cultural practices tied to the land.

Discover the deep connections between the Syilx people and the environment through:

  • Seasonal storytelling and ceremonies

  • Traditional hunting and fishing cycles

  • Plant gathering for food, medicine, and technology

This engaging session offers valuable insight into Indigenous seasonal knowledge and land-based traditions.
