Julie Robinson, PAg

Julie has dedicated over 25 years to the agricultural sector in Northeast British Columbia, where she operates a ranch alongside her husband, managing a herd of more than 110 head of cattle. Her current professional role is as a Range Officer with the Ministry of Forests, based in Dawson Creek. Her extensive experience spans forage and range management, soil health assessments, crop and livestock management, and pasture stewardship, among other responsibilities.

Julie has been a registered Professional Agrologist (P.Ag) with the BC Institute of Agrologists (BCIA) since 2007. She was first elected to the Provincial BCIA Board in May 2016 and officially assumed the role of President in June 2017. During her three-year term on the Board, Julie served on the Governance Committee (2016–2019) and led the Strategic Planning Committee in 2017. She has also contributed to the Peace Region Branch Executive, holding various branch-level positions from 2004 to 2015. Through her leadership, Julie has fostered collaboration among agrologists, landowners, and government agencies to address complex environmental and agricultural challenges in the region.
