BC Agriculture in the Classroom – Volunteer Opportunities
BC Agriculture in the Classroom is seeking volunteers to support their Ag Adventures programs in Kelowna and Abbotsford, as well as summer gardening camps for children aged 6–11. Volunteers help deliver hands-on, outdoor learning experiences focused on agriculture, food systems, and environmental stewardship for K–12 students.
This is a great opportunity to support agricultural literacy in BC, connect with the community, and gain eligible volunteer hours for professional development (documentation provided).
They are also offering a limited number of workshop-only spots in their Summer Institute (weeklong PD program), which includes field tours, guest speakers, and practical learning on sustainable food systems.
