Purpose of the BCIA - Victoria & Islands Branch Reading Club (VIRC)
The format of this reading group consists of a reading followed by a one-hour meeting where the reading is discussed and dialog is free to explore the topic at hand and related ideas within the field of agrology.
Reading materials can be articles from journals, magazines, papers, industry letters, etc. Currently we will attempt this virtually, using breakout groups if needed to keep numbers manageable and encourage participation by all.
The goal is to move to smaller localized groups with face to face meetings held at local venues such as parks, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. (can you imagine…).Provide us with your suggestions on how we can make this a fun and interactive learning experience.
If interested in participating in the reading group, or learning more, please complete the form below. Your responses will go to a member of the BCIA Victoria and Islands branch. If sufficient interest, you will be contacted about any upcoming reading group sessions.
