Using case studies and examples, this course looks at the professionalism, the code of ethics, and the responsibilities of professional Agrologists. The course will also review the new Code of Ethics, Duty to Report and the changes to the BCIA Bylaws following the enactment of the Professional Governance Act.
Section 1 will be delivered as a two-week self-paced online course (approximately 4 hours of online work). Opens Friday, October 21 at noon. Complete online modules by Friday, November 4, 2022.
Section 2 will be a 2 - 2 1/2 hour real-time Zoom discussion of the case studies covered in Section 1 held on Tuesday, November 8, from 1:00 - 3:30 PM. Registrants must complete Section 1 (online portion) before gaining access to the Zoom session.
BOTH Sections 1 and 2 must be completed for successful completion of the Ethics workshop requirement for the Articling Program. (8 PDH total)
Registration Cost: $120 for Articling and Expedited TAgs and PAgs who have not previously taken the BCIA Ethics workshop.
