Obtain your Provincial Pesticide Applicator Certification (Industrial Vegetation & Noxious Weeds)

What’s included: In-person instruction, calculations practice, backpack sprayer demonstration & exam on the final day.

You will learn about: Local, provincial & federal legislation that governs pesticide use in B.C. How pesticides are registered, classified & labeled for use in Canada Principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Understand how to minimize risks to environment & public when selecting & applying pesticides Application technology & how to perform calculations for calibrating application equipment Correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) & emergency response Identification & management of priority invasive plant species in B.C.

June 3 - Class 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

June 4 - Class 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

June 5 - Class & Exam 9:00 AM - 12 PM, Class & 1 PM - 4 PM

Exam details: Government-issued photo ID is required. The certificate is only valid in B.C. Results will be mailed directly: 75+% = 5-year Certificate 60-74% = 1-year Certificate Below 59 % = No Certificate
