Join Dr. Catherine Tarasoff, PhD. PAg, for an on-farm research event in Armstrong, BC, exploring the use of a multispecies cover crop as a nurse crop.
This on-farm research project found that a diverse cover crop improved yields and reduced weeds when compared with a traditional nurse crop of forage oats. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about the research and see the project in a practical farm setting.
