We're excited to announce that BCIA's new Online Ethics Course has officially opened for registration today, November 4th!
Here's what you need to know:
- Registration opens: November 4, 2026
- Course fee: $100
- Course format: Self-paced, asynchronous online learning followed by a 2-hour live Zoom workshop with a BCIA Ethics Instructor
- Estimated learning time: 5 - 8 hours, depending on individual learning pace, plus the 2-hour Zoom workshop
- Access: Through BCIA's Moodle online learning platform
- If you have not done other BCIA Moodle Courses, you will need to set up your student account to gain access.
How does it work?
Once registered, participants can begin working through the online course at their own pace. All course content and required assessments must be successfully completed before attending the live Zoom workshop within Moodle.
The 2-hour instructor-led session provides an opportunity to explore ethical scenarios, discuss real-world applications, and engage with fellow participants.
Upon successful completion of both components, including the required post-workshop feedback survey, participants will receive their BCIA Ethics Course Certificate of Completion and can then declare this portion of their articling program as complete.
