After working with the Federal Army Corps Of Engineers at Clinton lake as a ranger Andrew moved to Alaska to live out his dreams of being the wild north. In 2010 Andrew moved to BC via Alaska after meeting his wife. Andrew and wife Janie moved to Prince George, BC and Andrew began work in Forest ecology, Agrology and Environmental consulting. Andrew now regularly gives presentations and workshops on food production, seed saving and plant breeding for extreme climates in northern BC, and operates his certified organic mixed vegetable farm north east of Prince George since 2011. The farm sells to local markets, restaurants and a distributor in Vancouver. Andrew also works as an Agriculture Land Commissioner for the north panel and a BC land matcher/business mentor with Young Agrarians Canada. In Andrew's free time you can find him hunting, fishing and foraging with his wife and two sons in the boreal forests of their corner of the world and simply enjoying the abundant beauty of the British Columbian landscape.
