Hilary's expertise lies in multidisciplinary practices based on ecological, environmental, rangeland, agronomic, and socio-economic principles. I have contributed to, and led teams on a variety of projects from small to large scale environmental assessments, working across multiple disciplines including ecology, wildlife, forestry, and social sciences. Hilary's background and passions are firmly rooted in rangeland science and promoting adaptive stewardship to multi-use resources.
As a rangeland agrologist and range management specialist, Hilary worked with landowners, public, stakeholders and Indigenous peoples in Alberta to further the communication, art, and science of rangeland management. Hilary has been based in the East Kootenay since January 2020, and has worked on a number of projects in broad physical and social science disciplines. Hilary now offers select, small scale rangeland and ecological consulting services to Alberta and BC, utilizing her skills in rangeland ecology, ecosystem classification, agricultural science, invasive species management, ecological restoration and project management.
