Carolina is a multi-disciplinary environmental geoscientist and agrologist with experience in environmental consulting, mining, forestry, agriculture, fisheries, and construction. Her experience spans a variety of breadths, but predominantly focuses on terrain, soils, geohazards, and surface/ground water. She is skilled in project initiation and development, field data collection, report writing, project delivery, and client communications.
Carolina received her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Environmental Science with a concentration in Environmental Earth Systems from Simon Fraser University upon graduating in 2020. Prior to graduating, an interest in geosciences drove her to complete an additional year of earth science courses. Carolina is now a registered Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT) with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia as well as an Articling Agrologist (A.Ag) with the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists.
In addition to her geoscience and agrology practices, Carolina’s experience also includes fish counts, ecology, big data management, climatology, outreach, sustainability, communications, and marketing.
