Environmental Technician with 4 years of working experience in contaminated sites and 2 years of experience in wastewater management specifically (soil and site assessments for residential septic systems, as well as designs, and inspections). After obtaining my BSc. in environmental science, I worked as a community development and infrastructure consultant in Cameroon, responsible for waste management and providing clean portable drinking water services to low-income communities. I continued my studies by obtaining my MSc. with a thesis on metal concentrations and bioaccessibility in Vancouver City Parks. I joined the WES team in 2020 as an environmental technician responsible for completing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Detailed Site Assessments, Soil/Water Remediation, field sampling, data analysis and report writing. Since joining WES, I expressed a keen interest in wastewater management and have undergone additional training to expand my education and qualifications within the industry. As I currently work for WES, I carry out septic system planning, design, inspections, and soil and site assessments. I have mentored/worked with several experienced Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioners (ROWPs) and engineers.
