The 2023/2024 Annual Report of the Office of the Superintendent of Professional Governance (OSPG) is now available to view! The report details the work completed by the OSPG as well as highlights the accomplishments of the regulatory bodies operating under the Professional Governance Act (PGA) of which BCIA is one of the regulators. The 2024 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists ("BCIA") respecting the 2023 fiscal year shall take place by way of a hybrid format (in-person and virtually) on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm Pacific Time. It's the 77th year for BCIA as a regulator!
The 2023 AGM minutes, Annual Report, Audited Financial Statements and other materials will be reviewed during the meeting.

The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS) is developing best management practices documents for invertebrate species at risk. Concurrently, we plan to offer professional development opportunities focused on invertebrates, including classroom-based information sessions; field-based survey/methods training; and both field- and classroom-based identification workshops.
BCIA is pleased to announce the results of its online nomination process for three (3) Registrant Board Member positions within Districts 1, 2, and 3 in compliance with the Professional Governance Act (PGA) and the BCIA Bylaws. Call for Resolutions – BCIA AGM: Proposed resolutions will be considered at the BCIA AGM on May 8, 2024. The call for resolutions submission deadline is 45 days prior to the AGM. If considering a resolution, please submit to Interim CEO, Jane Kerner, no later than 4:00 PM (Pacific time) on Friday, March 22, 2024.
