75 years ago on June 1, 1947 under the Agrologists Act, BCIA’s Bylaws came into effect. As it is today, the role of the Institute is to protect the public interest by governing the professional conduct of its membership and protecting the province's natural resources. IAF is Delivering a new Program: BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund (BCCAF), and is looking for Agrologists!

BCCAF provides funding to help farmers tackle climate change by adopting beneficial managing practices (BMPs) in three specific areas: Nitrogen Management, Cover Cropping and Rotational Grazing. BCCAF is funded by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the On-Farm Climate Action Fund.

Applications will be accepted by IAF in June and September of 2022 and 2023.
