As it is today, the role of the Institute is to protect the public interest by governing the professional conduct of its membership and protecting the province's natural resources. IAF is Delivering a new Program: BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund (BCCAF), and is looking for Agrologists!
BCCAF provides funding to help farmers tackle climate change by adopting beneficial managing practices (BMPs) in three specific areas: Nitrogen Management, Cover Cropping and Rotational Grazing. BCCAF is funded by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the On-Farm Climate Action Fund.
Applications will be accepted by IAF in June and September of 2022 and 2023.
